So the good guys finally manage to get the one piece of evidence that would work in their favor but lose it almost immediately and are left fumbling for straws. As always, the heart of the show lies in the daddy – daughter moments! I was a mess when Tae San dreams going into that operation theater and disillusioning Soo Jin like that. *shouts at screen* He has to make it, dammit!
Another amazing ending because we finally get to see a face off between the good guys and the baddies and it is so worth it! I don’t read the previews usually-unless they’re with the episode but caught the written preview for this one this morning and had been wondering what would happen until I actually saw the episode and despite knowing what was to happen-the thrill of the moment was so.good!
I swear, I didn’t think I could like Tae San any more than I already do or root for him any more vigorously than I do but damn, he’s got a way to get under your skin because his plight is so human and heartening. It’s endearing to see the man who never cared to rise above his trash-like existence now putting all his efforts into being the better person and no longer caring if he lives or dies as long as he gets what he’s struggling for.
