This episode takes things up another notch and raises the stakes by changing the game completely. What was a victory takes a downturn and a major setback, but our resident baddie Park Sa isn’t one to be deterred or taken down by such an attack. Gotta love the confidence on this guy! Moreover, we get to see more of him and understand his ambition just a bit more. In just one scene, you see the man both being loyal and cruel. And Hyung Min is another puzzle for whom many pieces start falling in place one by one so that even if you do not agree to his ideology, do not want to accept it, you can see the logic and the mind behind it and hence cannot bring yourself to totally hate or ostracize him for it. Except, it makes him one step closer to the point of losing control and turning down the wrong road. And for a man who stands for justice, this is a dangerous bet. Can’t wait to see what Heartless City unravels hereon!
It’s been ages since I loved and anticipated a crime drama this much! Seriously, who doesn’t want to see the baddies get outsmarted and outworked by one of their own? And if the baddie is as hot as Park Sa, there’s no way you’ll not enjoy watching him! The way he carries himself-that clean and spotless look in the suit, that aloof and thoughtful air and the soft way of speaking makes him seem more dangerous than if he were shouting or dressed to the T’s as a gangster. The best part-even the baddies have to call 911-or 119, as it is in Korea to try and get rid of him!
I caught this drama a while back while studying. It acted as the perfect buffer from the continuous drag of books and data and while I was expecting it to be good because of people’s recommendations to- that included Raine from Raine’s Dichotomy, I didn’t expect it to blow me away the way it did. Yes, it had some major flaws and glaring discrepancies in its story, but what it had and delivered, left me floored! While I already loved Moon Chae Won, this drama made me fall head over heels for her once again! This series is well-acted, well written and moreover, it’s thought provoking and that is something not every series can do! *SALUTE*
So Eun Oh finally gets true to his feelings but Arang, facing the reality of their separation more keenly than ever is unwilling to respond even though her own heart mirrors his. But it’s fun watching Eun Oh turn over a few leaves in other matters as well due to his relationship to Arang. Finally the master begins to see the world with eyes that do not simply watch and ignore. As a character, we see leaps in Eun Oh and ones that totally make you love him even more.
Sorry for the late post guys but I actually saw the episodes today-Yup, a whole week later on the day that the new episode is airing! Things have been crazy on my end, but in a good sense because I became an aunt last weekend and hence was unable to get to anything at all! Even now, I’m swamped with studying and babysitting so I cannot promise the next recaps will be out on time or even out. I’ve not made a final decision yet-I love Arang and have loved recapping it so I want to continue but let’s see which way the tide blows!
Who can resist such a sweet and innocent smile? Not Eun Oh! Or me for that matter, hehe! Theres just something so endearing about the girl whos always taking matters into her own hands, even if it means confronting reapers who smell dangerous from miles away or just another person from her past. Arang’s never one to back down and she’s always got logic and guts, even if she’s being naive and trusting! Arang, I love thee! ^^
Sorry for the late recap folks but things just got lazy for me cause I didn’t get time to do this over the weekend and after that, it just somehow dragged on! Anyway, here’s episode 7’s recap. Hopefully, Episode 9’ll be up soon too (Think: hopefully tomorrow!). Episode 8 might not be up soon though or for some time yet but I’ll update once something is worked out! Till then, enjoy the recap!
And here it is. Time to say Goodbye to Gaksital! I don’t wanna! I can’t believe we’ve crossed 28 episodes so fast. The ratings once again passed it’s precedent to end at 22.9 and as always, the episode was packed with all the right elements. It’s like an end that symbolizes another beginning and in the life of Lee Kang To and Gaksital, it was truly befitting! I love the shot above-it depicts the essence of Kang To’s life so well!
