Wow, ten weeks of a roller coaster ride with our resident baddie Park Sa is just one of a kind experience. I still remember the feeling I had the first time he strolled through Jo Oh’s mansion-ready for a coup, calm as you please while the world fought on around him. ‘Now that’s BADASS!’ is what I thought, and the subsequent episodes took things to levels that I didn’t even think of! And now it’s time to bid it goodbye!
I’m going into this episode not knowing what to expect since I didn’t get the chance to check out the preview. Now I just hope the ending leaves me satisfied, if not happy! But seriously, after 19 episodes of having such close brushes with death and danger, doesn’t our hero deserve a happy ending?
Note after watching: SERIOUSLY WRITER?! Or as Soo said it, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!”
And we’re on for the final week and the last two episodes now that episode 18 has aired! I can’t believe this drama will be ending a week from now and we’ll have no more Cruel City, and our resident baddie Park Sa to look forward to! Maybe it’s time we also went out in search for that drug factory just to get us off this addiction and on to something else, lol!
Shit finally hits the fan as Soo Min comes to the realization about who Shi Hyun really is. Moreover, Busan is now laid out like a prize waiting for the internal crown wars to be over to see who will be the victor-Safari or Park Sa. It’s a dangerous fight for both of them, but even more so for Park Sa because the path to bringing down Chairman Jo, and subsequently Busan is getting harder and harder for him.
P.S. Forgive the bad aspect ratio of images and all. I’ve reinstalled everything on my system, hoping to make it work better and although everything else is perfect, it won’t give me the option to adjust my screen resolution so everything is wrong! 😦
This episode kind of leaves a little to be desired-not that it’s lacking, but things don’t really move forward in a very compelling manner. From the beginning, Heartless City has delivered episode after episode with twist after twist that spins the story so that we’re left biting our nails in anticipation and nervousness. Today’s episode didn’t manage to deliver that well overall, but the end was another point where you’re forced to sit back up, tense your nerves and ask yourself-what now?
Another episode, and this one’s left me in even more knots than last week’s cliffhanger! The game’s stepped up, players like Safari find themselves back in the play but Park Sa has even more enemies to fight off than before. Can the poor guy never catch a break? At least for a little romance? Needless to say though, he’s as awesome in action as a baddie in a suit can be! As an actor, Kyung Ho has mastered this role because you see the little details and emotional responses in his expressions so that even a brooding baddie is just as heartening, and as frightening as any other.
Hello again guys! Finally I’m back with the comments! Once again, man, this show is just pure awesome! Sure, it lacks a bit in places and there’s some things you just have to take on faith at times, but what this show does best is to make you forget those little moments of errors because it has got so much better going on that you just can’t look away from the awesomeness! 😀
Caption for the Photo: How truly lonely is the path Shi Hyun/Park Sa walks!
I finally got to the episode! Yesss! Unfortunately, my recovery has gone back to square one thanks to a out of town visit today where I had to act as the designated driver. Consequently, I am back to drinking loads of tea! The weekend does look like a good prospect for resting but there’s a traditional wedding coming up starting Friday and I might find myself having to go there too. I’ll just keep my fingers crossed and hope to get whatever rest I can! Besides, flu always completes its course and I’m so hoping mine has decided it’s time is done and over! Once again, apologies for the delay, but hopefully, the post will make up for it, especially the lengthy comments section! I went a little crazy doing that! 😉 😛
This was one hell of an episode and I have literally loved every minute of it! The face off has come so much sooner than I expected and it gives us a wonderful peek into Park Sa’s life that goes beyond the surface and explores the relationship between him, Jin Suk and Safari ever more. The ending scene had me wanting to cry-there’s so much going on behind the simple chat between him and Safari and it is just heartbreaking to see the badass Park Sa helpless and confronting the end! *Heartbreak*
And I thought Episode 3 was intense and had revelations-whoa, this is taking things to a whole new arena and putting even more people into the power play! Finally we have the true answer to who Park Sa is, and it is one you would have least expected! It makes you both hopeful, and fearful for him and his future!
