Equator Man Episode IV Recap

(My Korean isn’t perfect so I might have made a few mistakes. Please overlook and forgive, if any :)!  Again, I’m attaching screen caps at the end! Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the recap!)

The story moves forward into another era now, the adults! It’s surprising to see the different sides of some characters-actually, just one character- Chairman Jin. The way he treats his daughter, who I’m suspecting isn’t his real child either was quite surprising and his wish for feeling like family felt heartfelt as well. However, we still see the evil in him more often than not and which is about to be amplified now that Tae Joo is coming back to Korea. Then there’s Sumi. The girl is still hung up on Jang Il and it’s hard to see where she’s being honest and where she’s being manipulative. Ji Won is still in the shade. There’s not much further work on her character and she almost got like less than 5 minutes in this episode. (Don’t tell me it’s really less than 5 minutes! I can’t recall her being anywhere except the drunk and then the library scene!)

Equator Man Episode III Recap

(My Korean isn’t perfect so I might have made a few mistakes. Please overlook and forgive, if any :)!  Again, I’m attaching screen caps at the end! Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the recap!)

I feel so sorry for Jang Il and I can’t help but hate him too. His circumstances are making him take all the wrong decisions and steps and his greed is making him blind. He’s lost faith in his father, snubbed a girl because of her poor background and ended up with the death of his best and only friend with his own hands (Yeah, Sun Woo doesnt die but for now, he’s assumed dead) But more than him, I hate Chairman Jin. He’s the scariest of the bunch just because he’s cruel and unfeeling to the bone. He’s killed a man over a supposed ‘treachery’ and he doesn’t have the slightest bit of remorse or regret! I’d loathe to see him go ‘all out’! 😐

This drama is too dark for my taste folks and I hate all the evilness going around!! <_<

Strongest K Pop Survival Episode II Recap

(My Korean isn’t perfect so I might have made a few mistakes. Please overlook and forgive, if any :)! Still, I hope to give you an idea about what is happening.  All in all, I hope you enjoy the recap!)

Overall, I’m enjoying the series because its light, it has funny and it makes you laugh. If not anything else, some of the expressions are worth it! Like I said before, its not original and the storyline has been done before, but somehow, there is a kind of fresh element here in the way the characters are built. I’m hoping it continues to be this funny and get even better! For now, I can’t wait for the time when Hyun Woo will start doubting his own sanity after starting to notice and be attracted to Seung Yeon! Haha! 😀 Only one problem though! Koreans definitely do not know how to speak English and even if they do, somehow the grammar is really messed up and it gets annoying!! 😐

Fashion King Episode 3 Recap

Another good episode which gives us more on characters and their journeys, especially Ga Young who is slowly coming out of the shell of being too good always and giving back as she gets them, even Jae Hyuk shows both a human and a cold side making it a rather solid building to all characters and the upcoming story! 😉

Strongest K Pop Survival Episode I Recap

(My Korean isn’t perfect so I might have made a few mistakes. Please overlook and forgive, if any :)!  I also did not understand the episode 100% so there’s many things I am hazy about. Still, I hope to give you an idea about what is happening.  All in all, I hope you enjoy the recap!)

The drama may not be as original as it could be but its definitely fun to watch, especially if you’re a fan of this genre. As it is, the story has already been exploited a lot (Most famous: You’re Beautiful) and the premise of this one is just as familiar-the hero is with a killer smile and charisma which masks his mean spirit while our heroine, Ji Seung Yeon dreams of becoming a hip-hop legend but unexpectedly ends up dressing as male idol to join M2, the idol band of which Hyun Woo is the leader. I’m already loving Seung Yeon’s look and the encounters between Hyun Woo and Seung Yeon are fun to watch, despite knowing what to expect next. Most of all what’s fun is the characters of Seung Yeon and Ji Woo. Like their grandmother says, they accidently switched personalities when they were born because the girl Seung Yeon is as boyish as she can be, confident and outspoken while Ji Woo couldn’t be more shy or nervous and interested in cooking! All in all, for now, I view it as a good time pass series. It’s fun, enjoyable and gives a few laughs. If it does more ahead or moves into original territory or explores the interactions and sequences with flair, I’ll like it even more! 😉

Equator Man Episode II Recap

(My Korean isn’t perfect so I might have made a few mistakes. Please overlook and forgive, if any :)!  I also did not understand the episode 100% so there’s many things I am hazy about. Still, I hope to give you an idea about what is happening. Also, putting the screen caps in the middle of the post takes me a long time so I’m simply attaching it at the end as a gallery. Sorry for the delay in recapping! All in all, I hope you enjoy the recap!)

Realization and dread sinks in as Sun Woo watches his father hanging from a tree, lifeless. He hangs onto his father, calling him and trying to bring him to life. When Jang Il points out his father seems to be dead, Sun Woo shouts back at him, “He’s not dead. My father’s not dead. He’s alive.” Finally, the branch breaks and his body falls down while Sun Woo desperately tries to get him to wake up and tries to carry his father before finally collapsing and crying, slowly accepting the reality.

Equator Man Episode I Recap

(My Korean isn’t perfect so I might have made a few mistakes. Please overlook and forgive, if any :)!  I also did not understand the episode 100% so there’s many things I am hazy about. Still, I hope to give you an idea about what is happening. All in all, I hope you enjoy the recap!)

At the start of the series we’ve got both our leads wandering around aimlessly but with dark expressions. Sun woo is driving around in a car while Jang Il is simply walking around until he finally arrives at an apartment and buys a gun. Finally he heads over to a posh house, where a man is sitting out on the terrace, enjoying the view. The man doesn’t bat an eyelash when he hears Jang Il approaching and stares ahead while talking to him, commenting on the scenic location and how he likes it here, leading Jang Il to ask if he’s envious.
