So, the newest thing on the horizon right now are Drama and Movie Recaps (K-dramas/Movies, C-dramas/Movies, J-dramas/Movies and T-dramas/Movies). At the moment I havent decided how to pursue this thing [Whether to recap dramas/movies I have already seen or the ones I see in the future] but I will be taking the first step with a Jdrama that I just started watching and posting its recaps as regularly as I get to see the episodes. 🙂
Look forward to the first episode of Attention Please in Recaps coming along soon! ^_^
And I’m back!
My Laptop is finally up and about; no longer a “Laughtop”!! And all thanks to spending days on it trying to figure out what happened and working to bring it out of critical condition! Apparently, a trojan had gotten to it (My Laptop is usually infected all the time so this was one big virus that just took it all down, hehe) and thanks to Kaspersky Internet Security (And my friend who recommended it!), I finally got things under control and now my Laptop is spick and span and as good as new! ^_^
Looking forward to making loads of posts if I can! 🙂
While I still have this little time of access to the internet in the time that my computer is away, here’s another treat; An Indian Song from the movie “One Upon A Time In Mumbai” titled “Tum Jo Aaye” [Since you came] 🙂
Here’s a fan MV someone posted of it on Youtube. This video is my favorite because it makes me so emotional when listening to the song, I just cant explain it! The two verses where the male is singing have some of the most beautiful lyrics and the person who made this MV has placed really awesome graphics to go with it that enhance the whole listening and enjoying part of it! 🙂
Here’s another MV where you can read the translations of the song in English:
My favorite parts:
(Male sung-Part I)
The essence of love isn’t in distances(means Love can’t be enjoyed by remaining apart)
Come so that I can hide you in my emotions,
I’ve written your name on the top of the list of my wishes…
(Male sung-Part II)
I admit Life is unfaithful (Means one day it will end and no one knows when)
But if you leave me alone on the way (Way means In the journey of life)
I will bring you back from the Skies/Heavens,
And our two hearts will never be alone again (meaning they will be together forever with each other)
Ah, I so ❤ the first video! 🙂 Hope you like it and enjoy it too! ^_^
My computer crashed! One day its fine and running, the next, it simply goes Bam! Some virus got to it and there on it was slower than a snail. Finally it stopped loading any programs (Even MS Word!!) and then it just started shutting down every five minutes because of overheating! Hence, I sent it to the ICU for proper treatment 😉 and is hopefully going to make a full recovery soon! Till then, I’ll be on an undefined hiatus! 😦
26 People were gunned down today after being identified and forced off a bus in Pakistan while they were on their way to Iran. All in the name of Islam!
This is not what Islam teaches, this is not what our peaceful religion demands. Islam allows every person, even non-believers the right to practice their own religion. This is not Islam. This is terrorism. And cold blooded murder!A cold, calculated murder of 26 innocent people in the name of a relion which discourages each and every practice these people follow. This is not Islam, its extremism, terrorism and simple brutality! It’s heartbreaking the way these people can simply claim innocent lives without a single bit of remorse. May Allah be with us All!
The rain hit the ground with full force as she sat motionless on the bench, drenching her clothes, moistening her cheeks. The world was grey in front of her and she couldn’t even feel the rain that hit her because her mind was totally numb. There were no feelings in her. She stared ahead but saw nothing. Her consciousness refused to face the misery of her problems and to think about them. She was tired; more tired than she’d ever been in life. And now it seemed even the heavens were sharing her grief as more and more rain whipped down the sky.
Why me? She thought miserable, almost giving in to the urge of crying again but managed to control herself. She had endured it as long as she could, had kept silent as long as she could but each and every time, fate seemed to deliver a crueler hand to her, leaving her wounded and bleeding. The more she licked her wounds, the more she hoped for a cure, the more things would get worse. Sometimes she felt as if life had wound a rope around her neck and was squeezing it tighter and tighter waiting for the moment she would finally choke.
Her eyes could see the reality around her but it refused to wake any recognition in her. Silence was being broken by the sound of raindrops embracing the ground, but the silence inside her refused to hear even that. Her mind saw it all, heard it all, yet it was blank. She had collapsed. Now she was no longer the same. She doubted she would ever understand anything again. Everything was finished. She’d lost her last hope, her one and only ray of recognition and way of being able to coexist with the world while being true to herself.
The cemetery in front of her presented a gloomy picture. The graves, tombstones and the silent air were strange yet the slow breeze caressing her soaked face in the rain made her fell the cemetery was forever familiar to her and was sharing her grief. It seemed to sing to her, telling her how cruel fate had been to it. She gazed at the last grave in the corner, where a single flower sat alone near the tombstone, and even though she had seen the words inscribed on it just once she remembered them. Just like she remembered the person who lay buried in that grave. Suddenly she smiled as a fresh breeze passed her and words that person had spoken to her long ago came back to her.
“The wind is most faithful. It goes away, travels the world but sooner or later; always comes back to you. So, if I go away, just whisper to the winds, and I’ll know what you say…”
The smile was still there when images of their time spent together flashed across her mind and the first tear finally escaped her eyes, opening the bridge for the many that followed it.
“I’ll never forget you.” She whispered against the wind and with one last glance at the grave, wiped her tears. The rain was slower now and seemed like it would also be gone in a few moments. She stood up and walked away, out the door of the cemetery towards the world of the living, where she was a misfit but where she belonged, without ever looking back. She had whispered to the wind. He knew what she thought and that was enough to give her courage to go on.

This is one hell of a good Shoujo manga, and for someone who’s been reading them for years, it was quite refreshing to see an original setup in a very cute and new dynamic. The premise is one that has been repeated time and again in different series but here, it ends up being a very funny and comical scenario which leaves you craving for more. So far, Ive read very little of it, just 9 chapters, but it has kept me hooked and waiting for more! Try it out-if your a Shoujo manga fan and enjoy romance and comedy, you’ll definitely enjoy this one! 😉
Richard Rose said some very remarkable words once:
”The mistake people make is to wait for something to happen to them before they begin searching. They want the voice of God, or something, to tell them to get started. Or maybe they know they should be doing something but they procrastinate, hoping that tomorrow they’ll have more conviction and be more determined. What they forget is there may be no tomorrow for them”
