Saiunkoku Monogatari- Next Manga and Anime on List
A recent visit to a friends house opened my eyes to one of the storylines I terribly adore and brought back the need and want to read mangas again!!
Description taken from Baka-Updates:
“Shurei Hong, destitute but of noble birth, has always dreamed of working as a civil servant in the imperial court of Saiunkoku, but women are barred from holding office. The emperor Ryuki, however, refuses to take command, leaving everything to his advisors. Shurei is asked to become a consort to the emperor to persuade the ne’er-do-well ruler to govern.
Shurei enters the palace as Ryuki’s consort, but he has yet to seek her out. It is rumored that men, not women, share the emperor’s bedchamber. Shurei must think of a way to stop the emperor from shirking his responsibilities, but she has to find him first!”
So now Im looking for places to download and/or read it online! What makes me more interested is this song from its ost. Listen to it, its a sweet song, called Hajimari No Kaze Yo by Ayaka Hirahara.

I watched it on crunchyroll way back when it was a completely free site, and quite a different one than what it is now. However since you asked I’ve searched for a site that has it and came across this one: http://www.anime-sub.com/watch/saiunkoku-monogatari.html they stream it and I think that they even have download links for it. ^^ They even have the second season too!
